strawberry bread

I really love websites like allrecipies.com where people try out the recipies and provide feedback.

This recipe called for 2 cups of sliced strawberries, but everyone who tried it out said double that amount.
I used all the strawberries we had in the house, so you could say I at least tripled it.

For this, I mixed flour, sugar (1 1/4 cups white and 1/4 cup brown), cinnamon, baking soda, and salt
then I mixed (separately) the sliced strawberries that had been sprinkled with a little sugar, vegetable oil. and 4 beaten eggs
after blending the strawberry mixture into the dry ingredients, this made the equivalent of about two 9x5 pans
Let bake for about 45 mins in the floured pans at 350

delicious!

Turkey and avocado slices on toasted whole wheat bread

this would also be great with some alfalfa sprouts
delicious

tzatziki

My uncle john's famous tzatziki
equal parts sour cream and plain greek yogurt
peeled and grated cucumber
(let sit in a bowl lined with paper towels to absorb the moisture...that's the secret: the drier the cucumber shreds, the less runny your tzatziki is going to be)
salt & pepper
lemon juice
splash of white vinegar
garlic

you can dip pita bread in it or make gyros with it.

best grilled cheese i've ever made

I have no idea why this was so good, I just cooked it on the stovetop with butter. I used some white sharp cheddar slices, some yellow shredded cheddar, and one slice of swiss cheese.

I got a tip to try substituting the butter with mayonnaise next time...I'll have to try that

slice cherry tomatoes in half

add seeded cucumber slices, feta cheese, salt, pepper, and olive oil
